Food

- Junior's -

I mentioned Junior's earlier in this food post for its delicious cheesecake, but recently I went over to Junior's for dinner. We went to the one on Time Square. You should consider half an hour wait time before you get a table, but that counts for the most restaurants on and around Times Square. We ordered a burger plate, you get a big hamburger, with two big fried onion rings and french fries. We had free refill for the drinks.

Off course we wanted to take dessert, cheesecake, but we were so full our hamburger plate, that we decided to share the dessert. We took the velvet cheesecake and the chocolate mousse cheesecake.
Sooo good. We were so full afterwords, but it was worth it :-)

We paid 108 dollar in total for four, including tax and tip. Very very cheap and really good food.

Several locations in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn.

- Le Colonial -

Le Colonial is a Vietnamese restaurant/lounge in the backdrop of the Upper East Side. The first floor is very chic. But on the second floor you can immerse yourself in a whole different atmosphere. Here you can find the lounge where you can sip a cocktail at the bar or drink/eat something on the low tables and sofas in a very cosy environment.
We ordered several appetizers and main courses to share, cause that is what is most Asian people do. The food was very very good. I would definitely recommend this place.

- Junior's -

Junior's

Junior's most fabulous cheese cake and desserts. I think I don't need to say more. We went to Grand Central Station for a delicious piece of cheese cake. I chose the Cheese Cake with blueberries while my friend took the Cheese cake chocolate swirl. It was delicious!! You should really try this. Because nobody should go to NY without eating a piece (or two) of the famous Cheese cake.

- The Food Plaza -

If you enter the Plaza hotel at the side of the building, you find The Food Plaza. I went early on a weekend day (around 12 o'clock) and we only had to wait for 10 minutes to get a table. It was very busy though when we left about an hour later. You can eat seafood, pizza's, burgers, pasta and more. We were seated on one of the food bars where you can see how they are preparing the food. Prices are not that cheap, but it's a very nice location and the food is very good.
A must visit.

For authentic Belgian Fries you must go to Pommes Frites. You may try different kind of sauces until you find the one you want to dip your delicious 'Frites' in. You wont find many seats to sit down, it's more for a quick bite, but it's worth the try.
