- Can't wait for Spring @ H&M -

I was and still am so excited when I saw a little preview of the Spring collection of H&M. I love it. I really really want the pineapple sweater and the embellished (inspired Balmain) skirt.
The red dress is reminding me of the bohemian look, and the cap is an excellent accessory.
Mark my words, caps will be a big TREND this summer. I can feel it, so make sure you find an unique one.
I am designing some of my own. :-)

I am so looking forward to see some more of H&M Spring fashion. But let us face the Winter first...

- M.I.A. got talent -

We all have heard about the lovely singer M.I.A.
(If not check her song "Paper Planes" here and you will know about who we are talking here :))  Her new self-titled-zine inspired art book from Rizzoli charts her rise from socially aware art school kid to full-on controversial star through collages, photos, lyrics, and her own neon/tribal artwork. The book is distinctly original with her music, attitude and style of dress. The 192-page hardcover book was released in October 2012.

- Affordable high Fashion -

Did it happen to you that you really really like a designer piece but that your shopping budget can't handle it... Well, there is an other way.
I am pretty good at finding affordable alternatives for expensive designer pieces. It is really one of my favorite things to do. I LOVE IT.
You really have to look around on the internet and then you will find a similar design and sometimes it is even hard to see the difference with the original one. Below you can find a few examples.
I call the original / expensive piece; High End. And the cheaper / affordable designs are High Street.

- New Boy in Shoe town -

Shoe lovers, spread the words, there is a new shoe design talent! Burak Uyan, a Turkish - German designer who worked as a stylist for Givenchy (do we need to say more), and as a designer for Giambatista Valli before he started his own shoe line.

He is known for his comfortable! high heels, and has already tempted many celebrities with his designs. And not only celebrities... I am big fan!

- Cookie Cesar -

Belgian Top-TOPmodel Cesar Casier is very ambitious and I simply LOVE people who having a lot of plans and who chase their dreams. Cooking is one of his favorite things and eventually he wrote a very healthy-fashion cookbook.
As a model he likes healthy food, and he gathered several recipes from all over the world.
He asked if his famous model colleagues would collaborate with him, and twelve of them shared their favored food and recipes.
The book will be sold in several countries.

You can admire his model talents on the fashion campaigns of Armani Exchange.
